There is nothing that says we celebrate Christmas here like a fantastic wreath on your front door – the entrance to your home and the seasonal hospitality within! On our 2.5 hour workshop you have plenty of time to create the whole design from the base through to the decorations. We don’t rush you!

With mulled wine and seasonal treats our Christmas Wreath Workshops have become the start of the festive season for many over the past 10 years!

Learn to create your own front door wreath that oozes the aromas of Christmas. We will show you how to create a traditional moss based wreath using completely sustainable materials which you will then completely cover with winter foliage and decorate.

You will then choose your decorations from a wide selection. Choose whether you want a natural look or a sparkly party wreath – the choice is yours! With cinnamon, orange slices, berries, palm cups, thistles, seed heads, pine cones and a whole host of festive decorations – the choice is yours! All finished with stunning ribbons (optional) to hang on your door. Not only will it look good it will smell divine!

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Once you have attended a Christmas Wreath workshop during November or December 2023 you will have exclusive access to our Christmas Wreath online workshop so you can make another wreath for yourself or a gift for someone else!

We are a dedicated floristry school where you will find workbenches at the perfect height to work at (no stooping) and backed stools to rest on.

DETAILS

The workshop includes all the materials, foliage and ribbons that you need to complete the item(s).

You will be provided with tools to use during the session. If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased during the session.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the session.

We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don’t mind getting wet or dirty (as wreath making is especially grubby!).

This workshop is held at The Cambridge Flower School, Newton Hall, Cambridge CB22 7ZE.
