Come cheer on Team GB in this years Commonwealth Games taking place in Birmingham, this summer. With 11 days of swimming and diving, 8 days of cricket, 8 days of gymnastics and 7 days of athletics, summer 2022 is set for a spectacular home games.
The big screen will be heading back to Station Road (next to The Clayton Hotel) to show the coverage of the games through the 11 days. Times will vary, please keep an eye on our social channels for the day’s coverage.
In 1958, a group of engineering students managed to hoist an Austin Seven car onto the roof of Senate House, with the help of some clever calculations. It took the university a week to remove it – and will surely go down in history as one of the boldest student pranks ever!
