Be swept away to the Paris jazz scene of the 1930s and 1940s, and indulge in the music of Django Reinhardt and the gypsy jazz scene.

Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, along with jazz violinist Stefane Grapelli, created the sound of the gypsy jazz movement in their Hot Club Of Paris band, known for their lively and vibrant unique swinging sound.

Featuring guitarists Louis Thorne & Humfry Finkel, along with violinist Nathan Hayward, expect to hear classics from this genre, including Minor Swing and Nuage, as well as jazz standards from the era such as Sweet Georgia Brown, Avalon, Lime House Blues, and Blue Skies.

At this dinner jazz event at Gonville Hotel in Cambridge, enjoy a two-course meal, served partly before the performance with dessert served in the break, and soak up the classic sounds of Paris in the pre-war era.
