  • 8th April 2023 - 1st April 2023
  • 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join children’s book illustrator Karin Eklund for a workshop to explore artworks and artefacts on display in artists’ homes and museums. David Parr’s house and patterns will be a starting point to explore other personal collections and objects and to make your own narrative drawings.

Beginning with a walk-through of David Parr House and warmup drawing exercises you will create a narrative drawing inspired by artists’ collections. There will time to explore new ideas and experiment with different techniques and approaches. As a children’s book illustrator, Karin will share tricks of how to be playful and freer with drawing and share her personal inspirations and drawing habits.

*The price of your workshop includes all materials and equipment for the day, a visit to David Parr House, and light refreshments.
