Eboracum Baroque return to Grantchester Church to perform Part 1 of Handel’s Messiah and other Baroque festive favourites. 

As well as all the famous tunes from Handel’s Messiah (Part 1) there will be arias from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, pastoral music by Charpentier and other works by Porpora and Buxtehude.

Messiah Part 1 (and also Hallelujah Chorus and Amen)

Alto – Alex Osborne 

Tenor – Gareth Edmunds 

Bass – John Holland Avery 

Accompanied by an orchestra of period instrumentalists led by Alice Poppleton.
