Traditional Hungarian Folk Group Mentés Másként will entertain you with their wonderful singing, playing and contagious enthusiasm. There may even be some dancing so bring the right shoes just in case...

We are delighted to welcome Hungarian Folk Group Mentés Másként back to Wolfson College for an exciting live performance in the Lee Hall.

Mentés Másként Együttes specialise in Hungarian Folk Music with the idea of “mentés másként” meaning “save as”. Their concept of “saving” folk music heritage and poems sung “as” they are renewed, plays a dominant role in the Hungarian folk music movement. They have been awarded many prizes for achievements in the art of Hungarian folk music at many national & international concerts playing together since 2005.

Concert line-up:
Tünde Fábri-Ivánovics – vocals, pecussions
Géza Fábri– plucked folk lute koboz, tambura, vocals
Márton Barta – flute, kaval, fuyara, vocals

This concert is open to the public and there is no need to book.
Admission is free with a cash retiring collection for the performers.
