Music on the River is the perfect choice for an evening out which is a little different! Spend a magical evening floating past the magnificient College Backs whilst enjoying some beautiful music.
Our floatilla of boats will slowly glide up to the Mill Pond and back to Jesus Green, the ‘college backs’ with be bathed in the evening sun (we hope) and you will be entertained and enthralled.
Music on the River brings you live acoustic music on the River Cam. These events are intimate gigs with multiple artists performing throughout the summer period. Since the events are taken place on the river, the backdrop does not disappoint. Passing some of the most beautiful architecture in the UK, it creates an incredible atmosphere that will never be forgotten. Our line up this year are a great mix of pop, alternative, indie, rock, originals and covers which combines the best artists of the City with Cambridge’s number one activity – punting.
