The start to this 8-week course focuses on the basics of layering oil paint with a loose expressionist style directly onto the surface without an underlying drawing. We will be using photographs for reference, but the course focus will be primarily on understanding the beauty of oil paints and the extensive versatility they possess.
The course will help build your confidence in further experimentation with oil painting.
Materials: A basic range of materials will be provided for all participants to share. During the course there will also be an optional opportunity to purchase, at a great price, additional painting supports.
