Rampton Open For Nature Day

RAMPTON is OPEN FOR NATURE! Join with nature experts, wildlife charities and some very special Fenland characters from the past at the Recreation Ground, King Street, Rampton for the Open for Nature Day! Between 11:00 and 14:00, experts will be on hand to help you to discover the wildlife living in the area. There will be talks and lots of activities for all ages. Discover the wildlife living in your local area. With tailor made talks, table top displays and hands-on activities (including planting wildflowers to take home and grow), these events are set to celebrate and champion local wildlife right on the doorstep of Fenland communities.

Join with nature experts, wildlife charities and some very special Fenland characters from the past at the Recreation Ground, King Street, Rampton for the Open for Nature Day!

Between 11:00 and 14:00, experts will be on hand to help you to discover the wildlife living in the area. There will be talks and lots of activities for all ages

*TALK to wildlife organisations and local groups such as the RSPB and Conservation Societies who’ll be sharing their ongoing work to support wildlife within Cambridgeshire.

* LEARN from the experts on hand to showcase the wildlife that’s living in the local area.

* ENJOY table top displays and hands-on activities (including planting wildflowers to take home and grow).

* MEET real-life ‘characters’ from the past at 1:00pm; hearing stories about what they did (or didn’t do) to help conserve nature in our area. Listen and decide if they are Fenland Heroes or Villains!

This Open For Nature days is brought to you by the team at New Life on the Old West. The Rampton is the second of three local events designed to celebrate and champion local wildlife right on the doorstep of fenland communities. Open for Nature Days also confirmed for Over on 10th August.
