Saturday Wine Course with lunch in a historic Cambridge College

A fun day of tasting and learning about wine starting with Champagne and including a delicious 2-course lunch. Set in a historic Cambridge college and includes a mini-tour.

  • 25th June 2022 - 25th June 2022
  • 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for a fun wine tasting day in a historic Cambridge University venue from 11am to 4pm including a delicious two-course lunch.

Sample 13 wines learning what makes each one different and why. We even demonstrate how to open a bottle of Champagne with a sword (sabrage)!

There’s a choice of two venues – beautiful Madingley Hall (Queen Victoria sent Edward Prince of Wales to live there when he was studying at Cambridge) and a centrally located Cambridge college (currently Gonville and Caius, where Professor Stephen Hawking was a fellow). For both venues we include a mini tour.

Our Saturday wine courses are relaxed and informal experiences suitable for anybody from beginners to enthusiasts.
