Join us for an intimate afternoon of live music featuring some of the best emerging songwriter's based in Cambridge.

Come and join 6 emerging songwriter’s based in the Cambridge area, as they play their original songs and share the stories that have shaped them in the beautiful initmate space of St Peter’s Church.
A note that guests are invited to bring their own beverages if they choose to.

Trial by Crows
Trial By Crows are an indie duo based in East Anglia, comprised of singer and multi-instrumentalist Lucy Korzeniowska and guitarist James Hale.
Their dark, evocative, and lyric-driven songs are inspired by an eclectic mix of artists, including Kate Bush, Gretchen Peters, Fleetwood Mac, Agnes Obel, and Phoebe Bridgers.

Jenem
Candid verses, catchy choruses, and hair with its own personality best define singer-songwriter Jenem. Bursting back on to the pop scene this year with singles, ‘Why Do You Love Me’, and light hearted bop, ‘Hate To Be Wrong’, and with a slot at Camp Bestival, an EP, and a DIY Europe tour, on the cards for this summer, 2022 promises to be a year full of highs and a few hair flicks for Jenem!

Yvonne Hercules
Yvonne Hercules is a singer-songwriter based in Cambridge UK. Her music has received nods from publications including Clash Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, Afropunk, and others and she has received support from PRS Foundation, Arts Council England towards her work.
Inspired by Folk, Blues, Rock & Soul, her songs are a culmination of these genres underpinned by honest, thought-provoking lyrics. She also draws on inspiration from visual mediums outside of music including art & film, with visual concepts often coinciding alongside her songs.
Yvonne is set to release new music early 2022 which will showcase a new development in her sound and artistry with her first single Nene released February 2022.

Ovidius
Hailing originally from Lithuania, Ovidijus (pronounced Ovidius, with a silent j) is a self-producing singer-songwriter. Creating a blend of folk, indie, art rock his music is a culmination of various influences from Grizzly Bear to Tame Impala and even The Beatles. Having started out his music career as a guitarist playing for various bands and artists, in 2017 he began writing and composing his own music. The name Ovidijus was given to him after the greek poet Ovid
