Sounds Green – Mighty Like The Blues

The Garden opens its gates late on Wednesday evenings throughout July to host a season of open-air music from Cambridge Summer Music

  • 24th July 2024 - 24th July 2024
  • 6:15 pm - 8:30 pm

Featuring legendary guitarist Jim Mullen, Mighty Like The Blues explore the deep legacy of the blues with passion and intensity. Expect to hear blues of all styles and in all forms, from the low-down gut-bucket to the sophisticated blue-ballad, all played with the group’s trademark heartfelt intensity.

The Sounds Green series runs every Wednesday in July.

Set on the Garden’s Main Lawn, visitors can relax and enjoy informal and fun live music with family and friends, on a (hopefully) warm and balmy evening.

🎵 Music begins at 6.30pm, lasting approximately one hour.

🎵 Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Garden until 8.30pm when the gates will close.

🎵 Picnics are welcome. Food and drink will be provided by the Wandering Yak and The Garden Café. Ice cream by Jack’s Gelato.

🎵 Bring a rug or picnic chair and relax in beautiful surroundings to some stunning musical sounds!
