Summer Open Day

Adams Heritage Centre is open during the Summer on alternate Sundays. It is a unique preserved Victorian ironmongers shop with original fittings and a fascinating array of artefacts: original stock items many will recognise from times past. A business archive gives a glimpse into the daily and weekly life of a Fenland village and surrounding area. The shop, now a heritage and arts centre, has a collection of fen skates, as Adams was the UK agent for Norwegian fen skates sold to many world champions in the wider Fenland and Wash area. On display is also contemporary art created in response to the story of Adams by a range of makers living in Littleport and the Fens.
