The interdisciplinary Cambridge Festival will take place from 14-28 March 2024 with a mixture of on online, on-demand and in-person events covering all aspects of the world-leading research happening at Cambridge.

Fixing the NHS, stopping wars, and the effects of AI on the democratic process headline a packed programme of events at this year’s Cambridge Festival 2024. One of the largest festivals of its kind in the country, the Cambridge Festival, organised by the University of Cambridge, returns for its annual two-week offering between 13 – 28 March.

Taking place at venues across Cambridge, you will be able to enjoy everything from exhibitions, performances, film screenings, meaningful and inspirational conversations with leading experts, workshops as well as interactive events and hands-on activities for all the family to enjoy.

Most of the 350+ events are free and every event is open to everyone – you do not need to be connect to the University in any way to attend our events.

Others organisations across the City taking place include Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge University NHS Foundation Trust, AstraZeneca, Mill Road History Society, Cambridge Carbon Footprint, Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination, Public Health England: East of England, East Anglian Air Ambulance, Cambridge Academy of Science and Technology, Cambridge Regional College and Abbey People.

Cambridge Folk Festival is one of the longest running folk festivals in the world, having launched in 1965. It takes place each summer at Cherry Hinton Hall park, and features an eclectic line-up of traditional and modern folk, as well blues, country and roots acts.
