We are a 4th generation family-owned business and the oldest cycle shop in Cambridge. Of course our business has changed substantially over the years and today we concentrate on stocking a wide range of bicycles and appropriate accessories, from cargo e-bikes right through to sports nutrition

The Townsends Light Blue team have the knowledge & experience to help with every aspect of cycling. With a wide range of town, urban, commuter and leisure bikes plus a selection of children’s bikes. We also have a great selection of parts, accessories, lights, locks and clothing, we can get you on the road in no time. Our fast and friendly workshop offers competitive repairs facilities for most types of bicycle – give us a call to book-in.

From affordable entry level bikes to Carbon race bikes we have something for you. We carry bikes in store from leading brands such as Merida, Ridgeback, Pashley, Genesis, and Surly, as well as our very own range of The Light Blue cycles.
